CALL TO ORDER: Chairman Pacekonis called the Special Meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission and the Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission to order at 7:00 p.m.
- Workshop presented by UCONN CLEAR on Low Impact Development (LID) Techniques
Mr. Michael Dietz from UCONN CLEAR gave a power point presentation about Low Impact Development (LID) techniques stating storm water runoff is presently the biggest source of pollution on the environment in this country. Rain gardens, soil bio-retention, vegetated roof covers, permeable paving systems, and water harvesting techniques were discussed.
ADJOURNMENT: Chairman Pacekonis adjourned the Special Meeting at 8:00 p.m.
